Isimeme Whyte is an accomplished, passionate, and dedicated Tech Enthusiast, Social Entrepreneur, Migration Expert, E-commerce Expert, Senior Consultant, Business Development Strategist, Driving Growth in Agritech and the Creative Economy, TEDx Speaker & Filmmaker, AI Educator and Brand Development Executive, in Social Development with more than twenty-five (25) years of multi-sector experience in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs, EdTech, government/NGO partnerships, entrepreneurship, community advocacy, and engagement.
She is a business coach and growth strategist with a record of helping over 11,531 business startups scale from ideation to the testing stage using technology-driven strategies. Through her leadership, over 12,205 young people have been empowered with digital skills, and 2,689 young creatives in filmmaking have been trained by her initiative. She has also received the Golden Jubilee Award for Excellence from the Christian Women Fellowship International (CWFI) for her contributions to society in EdTech, Entrepreneurship, Community Advocacy, Migration and Digital Transformation in the MSME sector.
She is the founder and Group Managing Director of Genius Hub Groups, and a member of the board of Genius Hub Global Initiative. She is the founder of Young Girls Foundation, now a department in Genius Hub, and the initiator of the CEOs’ Meeting. Isimeme is the founder and board member of the Conference of NGOs (CONGOs) in Edo State and the Lady Mechanic Initiative. She is Vice President of the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT), Nigeria; a member of the Edo State Exporters Cluster; Coordinator of the Edo State Women Entrepreneurship Platform; and coordinator of the Association of Nigerian Businesswomen Network, Edo State.
She is a GOPA-certified Master Trainer, an ICSS (Inspire, Create, Start and Scale) Entrepreneurship Program TFC (Trainer, Facilitator, and Coach), and participated in the Training of Trainers by the International Labour Organization on ILO's Cooperative Development Tools. She is a co-author of the SE4G E-commerce for Growth Curriculum, published by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and has led the Azura Youth Empowerment Programme, the HerMigrationVoice project (reaching over 3 million people), and the Youth Empowerment Pathways Project under PIND/OKOMU, among others.
In addition to her social development work, Isimeme has held several key public service roles, including Executive Secretary to Esan-West Local Government in Edo State and Senior Special Assistant to the Edo State Government on World Bank Matters. She has also served as a State Coordinator for the Association of Nigerian Women in Business Network.
Her work has been recognized by UN Women for driving technology and innovation and contributing to the advancement of gender equality and women’s empowerment in Nigeria. She was inducted into The Iconic Brand Awards Hall of Icons (2023) and received awards for Corporate Brand of the Year and Distinctive Positive Value. Isimeme is currently pursuing her PhD at Edgewood University, U.S.A., holds a BSc. in Microbiology from the University of Benin, and is certified in Monitoring & Evaluation (RIPA International UK), Business Development Services, and Digital Marketing, among other credentials.
She doubles as an award-winning filmmaker with about 29 films produced, and created Ewaen Studio, a movie streaming platform designed to expand the reach of socially impactful films addressing migration, drug abuse, corruption, domestic violence, SGBV, inequality and education.
She is Co-founder of BetaaWork, a marketplace for workforce; founder of Tech Women in Business and Leadership (TWIBL); founder of House of Ose, a ready-to-wear fashion brand; and founder of GreenSevenHubs, a coalition of seven strategic social networks promoting culture, sustainability and green innovation.
Through her visionary leadership, Genius Hub has facilitated digital skills training and entrepreneurship development for over 104,000 beneficiaries, including youths, women, and returned irregular migrants and survivors of human trafficking in Edo State, with regional offices across 16 locations in Nigeria and an expanding presence in Rwanda and beyond.
She is happily married to Dr. Whyte Stanley, and they are blessed with children.
